Are we going to see Luke clean up his act and become an asset? It has happened in the distant past. We’ve also, in the past, seen characters who remained jerks. While I hold firmly to the belief people can change I’ve seen the reality that most don’t. As big a jerk as he was last year I’m not confident of any change that doesn’t seem like a major conversion experience.

As he leaves Dr Pearl’s office , Martinez thinks in all reality she’s a real B@tch just like Thorp said she is.

The only thing we learned today, as this latest arc labors on, is that Luke, Dr. Pearl and possibly Henry, are big fans of Col. Nathan Jessup and “A Few Good Men.” Be ready for BHL to order a Code Red.

Martinez joining forces with Gil is easily the best of the 109 story lines Barajas has introduced.

P4- (Pearl): “First, you’re going to need about thirty red Milford polos. They’re $49.95 each and we’ll just deduct them from your paychecks. Then you’re go to need………..”

I still find it hard to believe that Gil can hire someone without higher approval.

My school, new coach (other than in basketball and football) was usually because of a push from someone already there. Quite a few of them had recently been fired from somewhere else. One of those, Norm Dale, even won a State title. No school that small had ever won a State title.
