    I think it’s Bubba Gumps that serves an item called Bucket Of Trash and it’s served in an actual little metal bucket. At least they used to.

    At the company cafeteria I got a big piece of chicken in my chicken soup. I thanked the cook. His reply was, “Darn the string broke!”

    The commercially available chicken noodle soup is closer to noodles cooked in chicken broth with some vegetables and bits of chicken.

    Reminds me of a 3 Stooges short where they are running a diner. Curly makes “Chicken Soup” by pouring boiling water over a chicken. It is easy to find on Youtube. Curly died in 1952, so this was an old joke when Unger reworked it.

    It’s too hard to get the chickens to lay noodles. That’s why chicken noodle soup is so expensive.

    True story: Went to our favorite steak house, where we’ve been often. I usually order the same drink, a mixed one. I like very little ice. VERY. LITTLE. So, got the drink and had to fork out a lot of ice. When I ordered the second one I said, “You’d better make this one without any ice.” They must have had the B team behind the bar, because our waiter came back with a glass of ice, a glass of mixer (full) and a glass with liquor…at least a double. Our waiter, who is EXTREMELY good, kept a poker face and said, “It’s hard to get the proportions right with no ice in the glass.” Long story short (I know, too late), I got two drinks with no ice out of the deal. I say it was the “B” team behind the bar because I often order drinks with very little ice and always get a good drink. It was funny, but I really think the tender needs to up his game.
