The detectorist rivalry again. I like this theme.

There’s a UK show from a few years back called Detectorists that I recommend.

That quantum detector is quite a leap.

I recall those 1943 steel pennies. There were still a few in circulation when I started school. >

Depending on their condition, some are worth $90,000 … mint!

Almost resembles fishing celebrations.

I’m no detectorist, but that ZX-3000 looks like it’s made from a coat hanger.

Yes and I didn’t realize there was a 3rd season. Not sure how I missed it as I watched 1 and 2 after it aired. Anyway, got something to watch now.

They weren’t initially that rare:Philadelphia Mint produced 684,628,670 samples of the 1943 steel penny;Denver Mint produced 217,660,000 samples of the 1943-D steel penny;San Francisco Mint produced 191,550,000 samples of the 1943-S steel penny.

Can’t understand if this is a very nice way to say goodbye or another way to say that he’s better than Monty.

Hmm. The ZX-3000 looks rather like a divining rod.

If Monty were smart (trying to stifle my guffaws!), he’d ignore this challenge.

But I think he will take it up….
