the only thing Andy can’t resist is another round at the pub!

A rest at home is worst than arrest at jail.

You are sentenced to go home, escort him officer

…a fate worse than death.

Worst scenario it would be dinner time.

They could have taken him to his Mum-in-Law’s house and lock him up there. Or would that be cruel and unusual punishment?

So if the charge was resisting arrest, what was he arrested for originally?

OOOH Andy. repent of your ways, or you face the judgement of Almighty God. SO much worse than Flo could EVER give you in a million years.

Umm… you have to be arrested on another charge in order to resist arrest.

Capp’s conduct may be questionable, but there is no denying the logic of his argument. Irate Spouse vs. Peaceful Cell – which would you rather face?

How can you be arrested just for resisting arrest. Don’t you have to be arrested for something else first? Or was Kafka involved somehow?

Andy knows his rights, and not going home to face Flo is one of them.

Come on. Flo can’t be that bad. She might give you the silent treatment which will be nice and peaceful for you.

Just be grateful she no longer has the rolling pin!

A) Sounds like a defense that would stand up in court. B) Sending him home to Flo would be a worse punishment than tossing him in the cells.
