Covid is on the rise. Take precautions. Wear masks. Get vaccinated. Be careful and maybe it will simply be the anti-vaxxers who suffer… (No it won’t know an anti-vaxxer who passed it on to both his parents – who died as a result.)
Even when we were still doing “Social distancing” I had people come up to the counter to make their order before I had time to step away. Mere common courtesy would be a nice thing to turn to. (note, I did not say “return to” because I have never actually seen it be common so I cannot be sure it ever existed.)
Does anyone just take time to look at the drawing? So much detail, so much going on, and all I did was read the caption and move on to my next comic….then I backed up. There is a lot going on you can miss, and so much work the artist out into this strip we can miss if we just scroll through for the joke.
(Actually I do like people. I was just joking. Mostly I was making fun of the fact that many of them kept talking about how small the place was compared to where they grew up, whereas I came from a very small place — population wise.)
I felt like I could breathe during the enforced social distancing. People still give room and say thank you to each other, at least in my neighborhood, giving the other person room to pass on the sidewalk, compliment manners, etc. It’s all about how you are able to put the situation into perspective and make the best of it. Since life is full of trails and adversity we can be the best versions of who we can be or complain and make life difficult for each other. I am a safe sheep.

“No. I don’t like people.”

I’m a self proclaimed misanthrope, and couldn’t agree more.
(Unfortunately, I tend to be nice to people, and nobody believes me.)

Robb is channeling Richard Scarry today. Haven’t found Lowly Worm yet, though.
