Reminds me of the time the Pope was awakened in the middle of the night by an aide with good news and bad news:

“Excellency, Jesus is on the phone calling with an important update.”

Why would a Protestant minister check with Rome?

My guess is the Rev became the go to guy for same sex weddings after this.

Just go to an online ministry site, pay the fee and download the certificate. Ta-Da, you are now an ordained minister. Then just perform the marriage outside your original denomination. Some years ago, two friends of mine did this so they could officiate their besties marriages and fortunately, it’s legal in most states.

Just go to Vegas. They have divorce offices right next to the chapels

BD didn’t care if Mark was gay. He had always considered Mark a weirdo like Mike and Zonker. He just didn’t want anyone arrested for being a weirdo.
