My grandfather at 94. Diagnosed w/ throat cancer. Said no to treatment. His reasoning? " I am old and tired. I have outlived one son and two spouses. It is my turn now." 3 months after the diagnosis he was gone. SO yes, when you are ready, you know it.

Comics should cheer us and make us laugh, why do so many strips dwell on dying, I want to laugh not cry
