Well, spending some time overseas should greatly reduce the chances of “Susan”/“Sprocket” crossing paths with Tracy or any members of the MCU. What could I say to her, but “Bon voyage!”

Suzy has her document squared away and Adam is looking forward to refueling his imagination for his next literary foray. Everything is looking rosy. :-Ð

What can I say but WOW. The outpouring expressions of thoughts, prayers, support, & sharing of personal memories in your replies & comments to my posting yesterday touched me deeply & helped to alleviate my grief. A deep heartfelt thank you to everyone. It really confirmed my long held belief that, for all the differences of opinion that get expressed in this forum, in the end we are a community built on our love of Dick Tracy &, yes, a love of each other. Blessings to all.

OK, the idea that Srocket is going overseas with Adam…Why did she need a forged passport if it’s a legitimit trip?

OK, I was wrong. Looks like after she procured that fake passport in a “distant town” Sprocket has rejoined Adam & convinced him to join her on an overseas odyssey. Apparently Sprocket is able to form an actual relationship with someone other than her brother. I wonder if they’re be flying on Agent 99 Airlines.

Has her past been that well documented?

The ideal couple, he travels to promote his books. Based on what I saw yesterday, she has created a job for herself. Something to do with passports. How are Tracy and MCU going to factor into this storyline? Any travel plans in Chick Tracy’s future? I can see B.O. Plenty and her going through TSA at airports. How does one get a passport for a chicken?

This must be Miami where you find a husband, get your green card, get him bumped off by saying he is a friend of Castro, and live happily ever after with his money !!!Case Closed !!!

These crooks again eh. They is must be up to no good eh.

I’m willing to bet this will be Sprocket’s first time outside the USA, let alone overseas! How exciting that must be!! I hope her passport passes official inspection, though :O

Are they toasting with milk?

I’m guessing there will be SOMETHING on her passport that alerts the authorities, but not until something happens to set up the drama…

An hour to kill ? Just enough time for a game of footsie .

Taxi? Why not Lyft, or, Uber?

What kind of container is that and what’s he pouring? Milk-based alcohol?

Has Sprocket heard about a Telemarketing position in Europe? Asia? The Middle East?

This is just a nail in the coffin of the story that preceded the Minute Mystery. It just lets us know what became of Sprocket after the fire. She won’t be further involved in the new story after today.

3-CHAINRING: But they’re really just for us – right? ADAM: You know it babe! And so is this booze that I’m smuggling in milk cartons!

It’s time to bring back some decent villains, maybe Abner Kadaver, and/or Yeti Nah, probably not enough of a rehash

ooo…This must be a backdoor pilot for a spinoff (a first for Dick Tracy?) It would be kind of cross between a mystery writer/amateur sleuth (like “Murder She Wrote” or “Castle”) as half of a husband-wife detective duo (such as “Hart to Hart” or “McMillan and Wife”). Each arc is in different locale on the overseas tour, with a different crime to solve in each place, usually involving… murder!!! LOL

So, it turns out that the case is that Adam Austin is planning a trip abroad, with “Susan”; their bags are packed (panel 1); and the taxi is due in one hour! Let’s share a toast of whatever Adam is pouring from that carton (panel 2). Cheers!
