    Admittedly I don’t know much about cats, but I thought once they had been trained to use a litter box (or toilet if the cat is especially talented), then that is what they will always do. I guess I can see some rebellious furry feline choose not to use the litter box/toilet, but I have not experienced that with the two cats we have had.

    when I was a kid, we had a Rainbow Vacuum cleaner (the filter is a water tank) and I didn’t see the mess the cat left behind under the ping pong table. Wow, nothing like cat slurry.

    These are all very helpful. Citrus- scented cleaning liquids are not a good idea for litter boxes. I found out the hard way that my ragdoll hated citrus odors when he defecated a good 3 feet from the litter box until I rinsed the box several times.
