Ahh. Souls.

Sorry.

I thought they found souls in the leftover minestrone at Olive Garden®.

Oddly this is not a new idea. Origen in the second century wrote that all souls were already created at the beginning and are simply waiting in a kind of kindergarten purgatory to be born.

Gets around the distasteful idea that a soul can be created by two teenagers in the back seat at a drive-in.

But modern science more or less proves the teenager concept to be the right one. Your mileage may vary. (Not mocking anyone’s sincerely held beliefs, just pointing out the irony).

If you are The One Who makes the rules, do you follow the rules, and if so, what makes you follow them?

Everybody knows God doesn’t make the rules; his wife does.

The “SHADOW” knows …… ;)

“…in mysterious ways…” is the “answer” given when there is no answer – it’s a variation on the adult-to-child response of, “Because…”.

In this instance, “mysterious” translates to, “I haven’t got a clue.”

In some stories, the world’s creator is not the universe’s creator….

EVERYONE has a boss. Makes any he, she it claiming to be God sort of irrelevant if you need to believe in such things.

God works in mysterious ways. You’re thinking of multi-platinum Irish rock sensation U2. Bono says she moves in mysterious ways.

Gods have always been the answer to, “why do things exist?” But asking how gods were created can get you in a lot of trouble.

New rules are just random recombinations of the old rules.
