Because you forgot to put a lawn and leaf bag at the end of the gutter? Because you didn’t have to climb a ladder to reach the gutter? Come on, Ed! Usually this strip has a much bigger downside!

Ed failed to calculate where to put the compost bin to collect the leaves.

All right, now it’s time to whip out the flamethrower!

I guess when Mr. Crankshaft pulled the gutter down, the leaves just poured downhill like water. Makes sense.

I haven’t been a Crankshaft/Funky reader over the years but since I’ve been following it I enjoy it. If I don’t overthink it, it’s kinda cute. I especially like the Crank vs backyard scenarios.

Raking leaves on the ground definitely beats cleaning them out of the gutters.

“Oh, don’t worry, I’ll just burn them right there!” Breaks out gasoline and lighter.

The odds of seeing Ed with his flamethrower just went way up. And odds are, the house will also go way up…in flames.

Yep….that is a swing and a miss.

Next Ed will figure out an “easier” to take the leaves and turn them into mulch.

So? The amount of leaves in one gutter is not that many. And what does “whiffed on the downside” mean?

The device has potential but it needs some tweaking to have the leaves fall into a garbage bin of some sort. Don’t give up….

How about Ed sitting on the throne for a week constipated.

Toenail clippings would be so, so much better than your incessant and inane comments. LOL

Haha! (＾▽＾) Well raking leaves off the ground is much easier, but maybe next time put a garbage can or bag underneath.
