So Haas is on a busman’s holiday?
Grand Central Station was torn down in 1910. Its replacement, still in use today by Metro North and Amtrak, is Grand Central TERMINAL.
It connects to 30th Street Station!

To you, it’s a pretty small world, but to me, this is a pretty big world for a comic strip.
I would guess Haas is “legally blind”?
Small world is a big city.
His hearing is amazing. No sight builds that sense.
The answer to the question remains unknown.
There’s supposedly an underground tunnel that leads 8 blocks to 50th Street and THE WALDORF ASTORIA!!
Supposedly installed so President franklin D>Roosevelt and his wheelchair could have a security-safe passage to his lodgings
The human spirit is also wonderful to see.
