That last part is really scary
It will be cute to lure in a victim then become scary.
I can hardly wait to see the paradoxical wonder.
Alice was ahead of her time, simultaneously cute and terrifying things have been popular lately
And don’t forget the great teeth, Alice!
i love how alice uses words like “visage”
That last bit will be the surprise.
Has NOT lost the element of surprise. None of the adults who open their doors during trick-or-treat are in her class…
When she goes on to her career in marketing, I pity any creative people that have to work with her.
A preschooler using the words visage and loathsome and using them correctly is what’s scary.
Seeing is believing…
Everyone fleeing in horror = no candy…
“And a visage so loathsome”…where does she and Calvin get their vocabularies?
Wait, is Alice talking about her costume, or her real life persona ;)
The last panel is absolutely fantastic. Alice is a portrait of angelic mischief.
when I taught pre-k the kids wanted to talk about their costumes for a month! I always said, “don’t tell me, I want to be surprised”. One year I was! During our class party all the kids, boy and girls, were ninja turtles!
Baby fruit bats look like winged puppies, but I guess Alice is going more for the vampire bat paradigm.
Panel 3 Alice is cute and adorable, etc.
But, unfortunately, the conjunction she wants in her bat-costume is not a logical possibility….
