Red didn’t quite understand what Rover was telling him.

Oh boy, I hope Rover doesn’t have allergies. My Rugby did that when he was younger. Once hot spots, not good. Red be a good Scout and tell mom.

He really should lick in the other direction. It’s best if you lick with the grain. It’s smoother and you’ll get less hairs in your mouth.

If your dog licks his paws a lot, smell his paws. An odor similar to corn chips may indicate allergies or a yeast infection.

My dog licks her paws sometimes before falling asleep. I think when it’s not an allergy they do it to calm themselves before sleep. She also licks my sofa, her blanket, the carpet, her dog bed, and on occasion, my leg or hand. Just briefly, until she’s settled and is ready to sleep. She will also use my hand for a pillow.

Reminds me of The Flintstones episode where Fred says “When I nod my head, you kick it through the goalpost”

PANEL 5 – SHADES OF OLIVER HARDY, JACK BENNY, ETC. I WOULD NEVER MISS A DAY OF RED AND ROVER JUST FOR ROVER’S POSTURES AND EXPRESSIONS ALONE!!! (IN THIS CASE, NO EXPRESSION EXPRESSES A LOT!) OH, BY THE WAY – DID I MENTION THAT BRIAN IS A GENIUS?

    Now you’re just being silly.

Mom and a friend at work when the first computer was brought into the office. They were figuring out how to use it (no training class, of course) Friend (reading manual) “OK. First you turn it on.” Mom (giving the computer a hug) “Hello you sweet thing, you!” No further work was accomplished that day.
