Speaking of “rear ending”, I used to own a Ford Focus that must have had a bullseye on the rear bumper because it was hit from behind twice while stopped. Later on, some generous soul put the car out of it’s misery by “T-boning” it. How thoughtful! ;-p
At these High Speeds, the stopping distance very great . So your reaction time must be fast. It takes time for your brain to send the message to your foot. If you can’t think and move fast a High Speed Collision will happen with devastating results. BINK!

Reminds me of collisions between sailboats. If you’re maneuvering around dock at speeds of 1 to 2 kts, then not much damage. Problems arise when skippers are traveling way too fast for conditions.

But you should see what happened to the guy that hit him.

At least a bink isn’t as bad as a boink. Unlike the word boink, there is no dictionary definition meaning hit or strike for bink.

And it didn’t lead to any road rage!

Wow, he didn’t see that coming? I wonder if that was distracted driving or road rage? Probably both, since it usually is.
