Actually Phoebe, it’s “Are you pondering what I’m pondering?”

Going into that freaky place and then being tortured by an all white visual space will take it’s toll on you.

All should be glad they didn’t go insane there.

But if everything is all gray in your head it might be fatigue or it might be from looking at the all white room.

Certain prisons and asylums are meant to be all white inside on purpose so that you can’t form or put thoughts together

“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

    “White noise?”

    “Yes.

“Have ever noticed white noise sounds like a waterfall?”

    “Yes. It’s soothing.”

My friend calls it the ‘nothing box’. Our wives dont understand. They don’t seem to have nothing boxes. They claim to have all of these mental post-it notes that keep popping up and won’t go away, whereas me and my friend, we can lay in the grass and let the grey soup of half-thoughts wash over us as the clouds roll past.

I think Phoebe should let her parents know that she’s back.

Sounds like they’ve achieved enlightenment, so I assume the remainder of the comic will focus on Phoebe and Marigold travelling across mountaintops and meditating.

Marigold first used the line “We are so in sync!” on March 9th, 2015. Aside from two reruns of the strip, she hasn’t used the line since. She is also wearing the same expression on her face now as she did when she first used the expression.

FUN FACT: Horses roll in dirt for many reasons, one of them being in response to pain, namely gassiness in the stomach. In order to relieve themselves of their built-up gasses from colic, they roll rigorously to make the passage of gasses easier for them.

That being said, after hours of being on a train, using magic to help her friends along the way, and dealing with some questionable and/or snobby creatures, I have no doubt she’s built up a lot of gas as a result, hence her current lying position.
