It really could be a real success if he’s wrong and they all survive with no serious injuries.

The real success would be if the guy who arranged this is the one doing the talking, and is the only casualty. Remember the joke about two hikers suddenly see a charging bear? One stops and starts changing from his hiking boots to his tennis shoes. His companion shouts “Why are you stopping! We have to outrun that bear” The man replies, “I figure all I have to do is outrun you.” Similarly, the guy in the tree doing the talking is on the lowest branch.

I’ve experienced “team building” instructors/instructions that were at least as ludicrous, although not as dangerous.

It is my belief that most people who wear neck ties, do so to keep the foreskin from showing above their collars.

Good thing he’s a Brown Bear, as they can’t climb trees. Hopefully…..

So just grin and bear it…

The bear thinks it’s a success.

My company was about to send us on a team-building “experience”. I looked at the description and told the CEO I had already been through it in the military. After it was over, leaders were still leaders and followers were still followers. They cancelled the expensive event.

The biggest jerk is on the lowest branch so there is that.

besides, only ONE of us will be mauled… probably… so that’s winning too!
