car stolen? bookstore employee killed? I seem to have missed those events in the story arch. I remember him getting arrested for vandalism and drug trafficking, and arriving (too) late at a signing due to too many restaurants… but the car and employee thing??

I just stopped in to use the rest room.

That would be my wife.

She is an elementary teacher with a classroom library. She tries to get as many signed copies as humanly possible. Let us just say Mr. Pilkey has been very generous with his time over the years.

Awwww. I would have been “star struck” had I not missed his signing last year near me.

It’s interesting to see how intrigued Pastis is with his cartoon character “Rat”.

How many people would rather get Rat’s autograph?

He was great tonight in Seattle. But there were about 200 people in front of me and I just can’t stand up that long, so I didn’t get me book signed. I’m not kidding, the head count was 400 and I figure I was about half way in the line. Hey Steph, be less Rat and more Pig! Good luck on that! (You had to be there.)
