Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues. (WWW so it must be true).
Snoopy’s mustache disguise appeared in the strip in 1967 (thank you, Internet) and in the TV special “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown”. Animator Bill Melendez, who directed the early specials and voiced Snoopy, had a similar mustache and it may have been Schulz’s inside joke.
Apple watch update, new watch face, 148 animations with Snoopy and Woodstock! Every time I look at my watch, I get a laugh! Any other of you out there?
I think Woodstock might be mistaken for a poult turkey, but not an adult. I have a cousin that raises the babies called poults to their juvenile stage before passing them on to another farm for the final adult stage.
I will never, in my life, understand how people that over-analyze, or try to interpret comics even find it worth coming in to read them. How is there any enjoyment, if you cannot take a comic at face value?

With that moustache someone might mistake him for a Turkish Icecream guy, than a turkey!

A fake mustache doesn’t make a good hippie or Beatle wig.

Good thinking. I sure thought that little bird was a turkey…

It is indeed a famous disguise. There was a whole episode of The Snoopy Show about it recently.

I wonder if that was a reference to Vince Guaraldi’s mustache?

Or confuse him with a sitcom star of the sixties.

The mustache reminds me of Bill Melendez, original director for the animated specials.

Well, clearly that disguise will work for the purpose stated. In no way does Woodstock resemble a turkey (not that he ever did).
