So many Military moves, didn’t have time to collect too much junk and someone else did the packing, so I didn’t care. Now, after 30 years in a big house, I am terrified of downsizing.
I’m in the final stage of getting my van in the high bay. The prior owners had made extensive modifications that I had to remove and while doing that, stuff creeped in.
From experience, you can guarantee that if you throw something out because you haven’t needed it for years, you’ll need it the day after it’s been binned and beyond retrieval.
That’s one thing I like about my place, lot’s of closet space. I have 2 real walk-in closets in the master bedroom alone. And while I’ve accrued a lot junk, I can still walk in them.

My life has gotten so much simplier now. I moved after 27 years of saving junk. Threw away a lot of junk. I no longer allow junk to collect.

My closet and spare apartment spaces have become “no-go” zones!

Time to clean out the closet and have the war over what stays and what gets donated!

I know what he says, but it doesn’t look like a cram-in closet.

That was never a walk in closet. It has a bar just inside so you would not be able to walk into it.

If it was a hotel, it’d be the Stuff-it Inn.
