Did Zoe combine short track speed skating with figure skating?

I thought she was in church listening to a sermon.

Zoe was practicing Roller Derby on ice skates?!

Looks like Zoe was a ©lutz.

This is very similar to today’s Zits strip, except their laughing at people on the ice!

It’s worse where we live. They have parent/child lessons — I had to be on the ice with my kids when they learned, doing everything they did.

I can understand Wanda. I used to flinch when my daughter started her figure skating lessons.

Exhausted, that figures.

Panel 1 – Zoe steps onto the ice and is very wobbly. Panel 2 – Zoe slips and falls on her butt. Panel 3 – Zoes arms and legs are flailing as she moves across the ice. Panel 4 – Zoe is still flailing , recovering a bit but headed to the sideboards unable to change direction. Panel 5 – Zoe smashes head long into the sideboards.

Wait till Zoe takes up hockey.

It’s a little nerve-wracking to watch, that’s for sure.

Hey Mom, how about getting out there and taking lessons too? We have lots of adults at our rink (myself included). Did you know there are competitions all over the country for adults? And most rinks put us in their spring and Xmas shows. It’s so much fun and the best exercise; you use your entire body. (And buying blinged-out dresses is a lot of fun, too).

Zoe must have done an Axel-lent job.

She did cut quite the figure… ☺

I thought she was at the theatre watching the last 20 minutes of Toy Story 3.

Mothers and their vicarious living through their daughters. This folks are where Bridezillas and Mommyzillas are born.

I thought Zoe was grounded for life.

Kids can take a tumble

And they won’t mumble

But parents kid-fearful

Should be more humble…

No broken bones this time
