How dare you say uncle Ted is old, Wilberforce?

I’m like all of the old cars I’ve ever owned, not classic just worn out.

All I can say is it’s better than the alternative.

I’m old but I’m not an Edsel or a Desoto. Do my gym daily and my work around the house. I’m OK

And if you thought of him like furniture, you could take him to the antique road show.

Or Uncle Ted is like a fine wine, he gets better when aged.

Or I prefer to think that like fine wine it gets better with age.

A classic that needs to be restored.

I don’t have any problem with getting old. And, though I’m not as spry and strong as I used to be, I still think being old is a great experience. But it’s all those stupid things I do that bother me. I just can’t help myself. Oh well, time will tell.

If I’m a classic, then I’m a dilapidated classic…

I’m much happier with myself now that I am old… when I was younger I was always comparing myself to others.. and I am afraid I found myself feeling unhappy because I wasn’t as rich, or accomplished, or good looking… or anything !!!…

Three straight days of Uncle Ted is a wonderful treat. And I agree – he is a classic! But so is Brutus!

I am getting to be like Uncle Ted, turning 70 next week.

Uncle Ted goes on, “problem is getting the parts”…

….but it’s hard to find new parts when you need them, or the price is very high if you do.

That you are Uncle Ted, that you are indeed. The cool thing about being that CLASSIC is that you will always be thought of and remembered that way by those you leave behind…..

I’m a Hybrid, old classic with new ideas. Striving to be better.

I fine with being old, it’s the aches and pains that come with it that I’m not so fine with.

Kids’ definition of “old” pretty much covers anything with at least two digits.

This is me… but it is hard to find “mechanics” that understand how to take proper care of me now. : )
