Texans still claim Texas is bigger than Alaska. NOT! Alaska is bigger. Alaska is almost twice as large as Texas…and Quebec Canada is 2.3 times larger than Texas.
So Will faced backwards, and pedaling backward, on his bicycle going forward, looking back over his shoulder toward the front of the bike. Did I get that right?
I had two very brief trips to Anchorage was back in ‘75 and ’77 when we had to deplane into the terminal so the aircraft could refuel. On the first trip going to Japan, I noticed a Pepsi vending machine that cost a dollar a pop. On the way back home, it may have been an illusion but I saw numerous noodle stands. It’s as if I never left Tokyo.

The city of Sitka, Alaska, is even bigger, at 2870 square miles. All for just 8,000 people.

Will Walker should really get a seat for his bike so he can ride it the normal way.

The population of Anchorage has been on a steady decline since 2013, while the population of Alaska as a whole has increased.

If you can hear the “clacking” of a bear’s teeth, it may be too late for you to escape.

Did Will Walker do it without pedals? Even greater accomplishment…
