I expect a full-on orchestra.

A real piper will be impossible, but I found a great public domain recording of a bagpipe performance of Amazing Grace for the recessional.

I’d be good with a scratchy vinyl.

One of my favorite words is “Shenanigans” but I may have a new fave in “Shenannies”.

I’ll take the “hippie guitar” music! My family and about half of my friends would probably prefer it over Tibetan sacred chanting.

You definitely MUST include the Hippy Guitar and some cushy floor pillows and a few bongs. You may leave some chairs in the back for the new generation that followed us “older folks” to sit on like they did before to rebel our wild ways :-)

I want Psalm 100 and not Psalm 23 at my funeral. I have it written in my directives. A few hymns I like too, although that list does change.

Wow Amanda, you really struck a nerve today. We lost our beautiful son Saturday morning, and we are just beginning to deal with the fallout. I really hate to vent on your wonderful lighthearted strip, but there is a whole so big in me now I’m numb. I love reading your comic as it feels like I have a connection being from North Dakota and all. Thanks for making me laugh this morning.

Everything I say now sounds wrong. I tried posting the lyrics to a beautiful contemporary song that I hoped would bless you and it didn’t post, all gone, after double spacing at the end of each line so that it wouldn’t blur. ლ(╹◡╹ლ) now I need a hug.
