The Snow Bear reappears in a few days, and I’m pretty confident that neither Bill Watterson nor Charles Schulz did the gag before me. (I am never sure about Schulz…he’s the originator of so many cartoon gags!)
This is so cute and clever, but I don’t care for many of the comments. I don’t know why I am always so surprised at misogynistic comments. It seems everyone loves to see a female “get what she deserves.”
It struck me in a different way. I was just in a hotel in the middle of nowhere, so I hired a guy to drive me four hours to the airport hotel the evening before my flight. So that morning, I packed my suitcases so that I could go sightseeing and return and grab my luggage and meet my driver. My housekeeper did the thing where he folded the extra towels into animals and put them on the bed each day. As I was running out the door, I just happened to notice that the “cobra” on my bed had a pink tongue — he had used my brand new spare prescription glasses in their pink case.
