First, why are you going through Mr. Hazelhorst’s trash can? Then can you be certain it’s next week’s answers? (I mean, you flunked the last one – right? Maybe these were what you should have written.) And finally, I’ve written hundreds of quizzes (history, not math) and while I might sometimes have a sheet of answers to use when correcting the quiz. I wouldn’t make it a week ahead of time, and sure as heck wouldn’t throw it out.
A student was breaking into the teacher’s offices and stealing test answers. They rearranged the questions and made 5 different tests to see who was using a cheat sheet.
Heart, before you look at it, have Dean lend you a copy of “Return of the Jedi” and fast forward to when Lando realizes that the shield is still up…Also, no math teacher worth their salt would ever use the square of 8 as an answer; it would be “2 times the square root of 2”.

Either this is a trick or the teachers are really incompetent.

Why is a student rooting around in his teacher’s trash can?

Careful kids, it’s a trap! Or it definitely WOULD be, if I were your teacher. It’s a great way to catch kids planning to cheat!

These bad-hair twins are a poor substitute for the Spumanti Bros. Maybe they’ll commit arson or something at some point.

Hmmm. If those are the answers, why would he throw them out, when I assume he wrote them down for his own reference?

Heart will not allow them to use it. Next were they doing in his trash can anyway?

(1) What is “pre-algebra”? Isn’t that called “arithmetic”? (2) Perhaps he rearranged the test and this was the previous draft.
