you won’t go to the living, or the room?

I’ll be working.

I’ll be in mine, ensconced in the recliner.

I’ll be kicked back, wearing sweats and a stadium blanket.

Since I’ll be home alone, I might as well go to bed.

I’ll be praying for a better 2024. 2023 really sucked for me. If 2024 gets worse, I don’t know how I’ll cope.

I use to go out every New Years Eve until I hit my late 50’s. Now I’d rather stay at home safe and sound and watch movies.

I was about three-and-a-half when one of my grandfathers died of a heart attack … in his Living Room. I dimly remember once running up to him as he sat in his easy chair — he seemed big to me, but from old pictures, I see he was rather short. Anyway, when told Grampa died, I was confused: How could he DIE in his LIVING Room?

For the first 20 years of my life, I’ve lived in New York City. I’ve never been to Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

We’ve always celebrated at home or with nearby friends.

Recently, we will do some virtual celebrating at least three times: with our relatives in Ireland, locally and with my son, his wife and granddaughters on the west coast.

If you’re alone go aù natural!

I’ll be in bed with the covers pulled over my head.

I’ll be in the living room for a while, but I’ll be asleep long before midnight.

Another day………another 29 cents!!!!!!!!!!

I plan to rest up for the bowl games!

2023 was great. Retired, got a new Bronco, house and bills all paid and saved $ 27,000. Life is good. Thanks Biden.

I worked the night shift for 40+ years. I’ve seen more midnights than noons. Also, I rarely go into my living room.

Yeah, you’re a regular clothes horse.

I was planning a trip to the living room, but it is such a long journey from the kitchen. On the other hand, I do trip a lot lately.

Hard to sleep here on new year’s eve. People are intent upon blowing up the neighborhood with fireworks. They started at midnitght Christmas. Silent Night, Holy Night???? Not in DC.
