Amazing incentive?
It’s pretty hard to mess with the teacher on a multiple choice quiz (unless you get to ask questions about the questions).
Otherwise … just “Take the win.” (for now). There’s always next time.

Kid must be taking lessons from Caulfield.
A win, however minor, is a win, Kid. It’s a credit in the plus column. Don’t knock it. Pennies make dollars if you work at it hard enough.
That’s easy! I’d have aced every vocab test if it was like that. The spelling was the hardest part. Our vocab tests consisted of the teacher saying the word, then we had to write it and add the definition.
The only way to win on your own terms at just about anything is to make the rules.
