I agree with you, Fred. I do not like fast cars, and I still prefer the sound of a prop plane to the high pitched exceedingly annoying whine of a jet. There’s a prop plane that flies over my house twice a day on some errand or other. Slow lanes are best. You get to enjoy the scenery and the ride.

Maybe you can coast in their jet streams, Fred.

Me too, I wouldn’t be tempted to slip stream either…..

Fred in car racing they call it Drafting ;-)

My GSP can beat them all, she can run 45 MPH. She can catch the Deer.

You are like me Fred, built for comfort, not for speed.

Some are built for speed, others, like you, are built for endurance

Dogs like Fred are more suited for using a skateboard for speed.

If you use the Ears, my young Pad…I mean Basset, you can beat even the Cheetah.

And…make crows break out in song.

Some of us are simply not high-speed models.

When our dogsitter hosted our dachshunds at her ranch they’d try to race a whippet fellow guest.

The dachshunds would always win the digging races, I’m sure.

Like Fred, I prefer to stay in the slow lane. That way it’s easier to stop and smell the roses!
