Well, that wasn’t very bright.

A beautiful idea slain by an ugly fact.

Moral of story. Do not get bright ideas under ceiling fan.

Horace’s idea was to turn off the fan (and lights)…

That’s happened to me, too! I try to think of sump’n funny to say, and the idea gets shattered! Leaving me thinking about nothing but passwords and phone numbers, and which socks am I gonna wear today!

Once when I worked at GE they gave us all T-shirts with just a drawing of a light bulb on the front.

I’m a fan too.

in our old building at work I was carrying a bundle of 10 foot conduit, it started to slip so I slammed in down on the floor and stood it upright. Unfortunately whoever hung the lights hung the fixtures at 10 feet but didn’t take into account the bulbs stuck down below. I just closed my eyes and held my breath until the shower of glass and phosphors from the 2 -8 foot florescent tubes stopped. It made for some interesting looking dandruff.
