I like fruit cake! a slice every 10 years or so is good.

Ha! It does freeze well. I’ll regive it that.

I was incommunicado on 12/22, but even belatedly I still feel I should protest another cheap shot at the noble fruitcake.

Why are there no new strips?

I’ve heard that one guy took all the fruit cakes he received, as presents over the years and, built an entire, indestructible, house with them!

Speaking of things from last year?

Hopefully this writer is only on vacation and the strip hasn’t been cancelled.
