Ah, the one-at-each-end bed sharing technique. Those were the days.

I hope this isn’t weird but I like that they are in the same bed. It’s kind of cute and wholesome.

I relate to Miles so much here. How the heck do people just fall asleep on command?

Sometimes it just hits you. Especially when you’ve been up 48 hours straight.

Miles, here’s a suggestion. Keep talking and then start listening to yourself.

As one who has to work at going to sleep I’ve always envied those for whom it comes naturally.

Usually as soon as my head hits the pillow, I’m out for the night. If you take Trazodone before bed.

It’s easy for me to go to sleep. I’m always working like a dog.

The worst time is falling asleep in front of the TV, rousing yourself to go to bed … and laying there wide awake for hours!

It’d be nice to fall asleep on command.

I can be falling asleep at my keyboard, stagger to bed, and then lie there wide-eyed, staring at the ceiling.

I shut down the thinking process by listening to the “Nothing Much Happens” podcast. The softly spoken stories lull me right off to dreamland.

I once saw a similar statement to panel 2 on Reddit – a Shower Thought.

As a kid, I once had a very deep discussion about Mario and the rumors of what was really at the end of the game when my friend had the nerve to fall asleep, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

He has a point, though. It is a little strange that you can’t go to sleep without pretending to already be asleep.

When my kids couldn’t sleep I would tell them to Pretend your sleeping. Worked every time. This is the first time I’ve heard the expression someplace else.
