If there’s nothing good on television you might try something called getting a life.
That’s why I use the “guide” button on my remote…so that I can confirm that there’s nothing on without having to click through each channel…

As you click further, the stuff you already past starts to seem better. Thus they were the good shows (or the good old days).

Back in the 50’s there were 3 channels and we could find many things to watch until midnight when the channels signed off for the night. Now there are thousands of options available 24/7 and we have a hard time finding anything worth watching.
It is what gets you up in the morning though, (besides your bladder) this.. could be the day.

I guess they don’t get the Hallmark channel.
The only thing to look for on broadcast TV is variety in the commercials.
My dad would suggest “Celery Green” to watch in the old days. Then he’d turn the TV off.
By the time you get to the end, there’s a new program on the lower channels!
If you don’t have cable (etc.), there are far fewer clicks to run through, Broom-Hilda and Gaylord….
