The judges said, trump is disqualified. It would be inappropriate, to allow trump on the ballot.

The judges wrote in their ruling, “donald trump, is disqualified, from holding the office of president, under Section 3, of the 14th Amendment, to the United States Constitution.”

One tiny, little problem with this. Trump was neither charged nor convicted of Insurrection, so expect the Supreme Court to quickly knock this down. Where do they see a conviction of Trump for insurrection?

The Colorado Supreme Court determined tRump is an insurrectionist by way of tRump’s own quoted admissions of leading the insurrection made in public.

As written elsewhere, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that tRump is an insurrectionist based on tRump’s own admissions he made in public. They used a precedent ruling by Neil Gorsuch before he became a Supreme Court Justice.

Then what’s the point of the 14th amendment? It’s literally to take certain people off of the ballot who might have won otherwise.

If convicted, I totally agree, not to be on the ballot. Which by the time of that part of the trail, it would be too late. Or system of the right to a speedy trail is way over due.
