Next time, Jon, just grab one right away before you even put them on a plate (presuming Garfield wouldn’t detect the sound of doughnuts being placed on a plate).
There was a time I remember when that I could beat Garfield to those pastries. Now, the mere thought of even just one makes my teeth ache and my stomach churn.
When I bring home the groceries, roommate unpacks and puts them away. I had a “Just4U™” coupon for ONE free donut and had a similar mental debate in the store about which one to chose. Later that day I went looking for my jelly filled selection, but could only find the plastic bag with a trace of chocolate inside.

Hope he left a yeast white frosted with coconut shavings around somewhere.

Well that’s what you get for leaving a plate of doughnuts unguarded in the same house as Garfield

That’s your answer to everything, Garfield. And not a very good solution too.

Wonder if Garfield was recently reading up on his ancient history — the legend of Alexander the Great and the Gordian Knot comes to mind.
