This is quite an interesting field trip.

I don’t remember ever going on a field trip, but maybe I’ve just forgotten.

Truffles was such a great character. I wish Sparky had used her more.

Many years ago, on the main business street in the town whree I lived, I witnessed a teen-age boy get between two teen girls who were having this same argument about him. He was embarrassed because they were creating a scene with more than a few watchers. As he tried to make peace, one girl slapped his face as hard as she could and the other one kicked hi in the shins. Hell hath no fury like two girls fighting over a boyfried. Linus is smarter than the real life bf. who ended up with neither of the girls.

Poor Linus is certainly not having a field day!

This is why Sally shouldn’t be around Linus’ female friends. She’s very clingy and entitled.

On Saturday I happened to watch a very old TV special hosted by Charles Schulz that was a line-by-line adaptation of four long strip series, including this one. So now I’m spoiled for the rest of it. Oh well.

My soon to be girlfriend (now wife of 48 yrs) was German/Irish/Scots, and her dad was a Marine. She was Very explicit with the other young lady. I wisely stayed Out of that discussion. Did my ego a lotta good, tho.
