Hmm, I never heard of the song or the artist until this strip, but I never saw the movie either. I was curious so I watched a few seconds of the video and that was enough.

As far as modern, auto-tune, soulless corporate music specifically designed to target a particular demographic, it’s not that bad.
However, as pointed out in the strip, the Streisand effect is very real, and often backfires.
