I’m particularly loving this story arc.1

Ironic how Wallace’s brainchild is a fierce warriors like Wallace himself, while Spud’s Brainchild is a a a um, Twerp.

I never had an imaginary friend. My little brother, when he was about six years old, had Crabby Davis Brynner. I was only about five years older, but even then I spotted that CDB’s three names were modeled after a fearsome animated cartoon villain, a highly accomplished singer/dancer/actor/comic, and a Russian/American Oscar and Tony winning actor.

Help: When did Will Henry use “shoveth” as an action word? I’ve been looking. Can’t find.

The artist Goya had an etching whose title is translated “The sleep of reason produces nightmares.” Could be used for the title of this arc… Or the current cycle for party nomination for President.

Hmm, a part of Wallace that doesn’t like Spud – is that why he and Carl had a falling out..?

I love “deep thought Wallace” in panel 1.

I have a feeling this will backfire, and Carl and Gary will get along fabulously.

This reminds me of Little Nemo in Slumberland for some reason.

Will, sitting at his drawing board thinking I wish I could burp fireballs, and a story arc is born.

My girls, and their mum, are red headed spitfires. And I’ll give you one guess as to how they earned and keep that sobriquet.

I would think Sterlings imaginary friend would be the worst!
