I’m sticking with PGA commissioner Jay Monahan for making a deal with the Bonesaw Tour behind his own players’ backs, hanging those players resisting the bloodmoney out to dry.
Nominating Coach Daniel from a local youth football league – friend asked him not to continue beating teams by 40 plus points. The only reason he played their daughter (one of the top 5 defenders) for the minimum 3 plays (in the championship winning game) was a parent from the other team threatened a forfeit if she didn’t play. The final scene of the coach, wife, and trophy alone while the team celebrated in the end zone was sad.Jay Money-han also, for the reasons others have stated.
Patrick Mahomes for teaching children that it’s ok to slam their helmets after a bad call (i.e. children will do anything if their hero does it, right?) and Andy Reid for bending the rules with “They didn’t give us a warning…” or the networks for showing what’s her name way too much during a game. Sports hero of the year is the referee who made the right call on that play!!!
If the nominations are now officially open then I hereby nominate the Jets’ crybaby quarterback Zach Wilson. He IS a crybaby because he kept throwing interceptions, was benched over them and threw a temper tantrum over it. Because of Crybaby Wilson the Jets BLEW IT again about making it to the playoffs. The Jets need to trade Crybaby Wilson RIGHT NOW!
C.M. Punk → While a wrestler with All Elite Wrestling, Punk was popular with audiences but quickly made himself locker room poison. This included going off-script to call out wrestlers he was beefing with, leading to an altercation. But instead of learning, Punk’s ego was allowed to grow even more. This ended with “Brawl In”, an incident at the All In 2023 pay-per-view where Punk physically attacked a younger wrestler who he had felt disrespected him. The brawl was so violent that a row of monitors was knocked over, with one nearly injuring AEW head Tony Khan. Within a week, Punk was fired for cause and the other wrestler was placed on indefinite suspension.

Probably worth throwing in Trump for one of his obnoxious comments. If nothing else, he can lose yet another election.

I was going to nominate Colts Owner Jim Irsay, but as a billionaire he’s already had it so rough.

I would nominate John Fisher, Jay Monahan, and then David Tepper, in that order.

John Fisher, Aaron Rodgers and, I think this is a stretch because he’s no longer involved with sports, Tommy Tuberville

Monahan, Peacock-NFL hooligans, and a golf club owner that consistently wins club championships with dodgy scorekeeping and a foot wedge.

John Fisher. The man has not heart and is taking Oakland’s and stomping it flat

Brad Allen, referee of the Dallas-Detroit NFL game. He wouldn’t be nominated if he had just admitted he screwed it up.
