It’s a lucky thing for the readers that Jff has short-term memory problems, or Pmm wouldn’t have an excuse to remind us of what happened two weeks ago.
Today’s beady-eyed nitpick: every physical therapist I have ever worked with (and, having had hip replacement, collapsed discs, two rotator cuff repairs, etc., in my 70 years, I have worked with a lot of them) wore scrubs or similar medical type clothing. Ed’s “therapist” looks more like an exercise leader at a trendy gym. My guess is that the Crankshaft Reusable Art Pantry didn’t contain such an image, so Davis is recycling some old “Funky” clip art from one of the “Funky and Les go to the gym together” arcs.

Are we in Hawaii??
This guy doesn’t exercise under NORMAL circumstances. You’re going to have to bribe him.

I did that in physical therapy when I had my hip replaced,

That exercise should be done while holding onto stabilizing bars to help someone of Crankshaft’s age to maintain balance.

And, we can go years not having to see those shorts.

Upon first glance, I thought Ed’s pants were down around his ankles.
Therapist: Mr. Crankshaft! Please! Pull up your pants. That’s not the type of therapy I deal with!
