The only reason to learn yodeling ………………………………….

. . . is a visit to the Swiss Alps.

She’s pretty full of herself, isn’t she.

Yodeling is great when you need to call the family to dinner and they all have their faces in electronic devices.

I can’t speak for Betty but I can’t learn everything I’d like to learn. Trying to learn language is tough, for instance. But I do understand her point " I could but why would I want to" .

I’m on Betty’s side here, but then again from an early age it was dilled into me “Can’t never did”.

That is me in a nutshell. I became a mechanic because I learned how to fix my own car when I was a teenager. If I need something done, and I can do it, I will do it. If I need something done and I can’t do it, I will learn how to do it, and then I will do it. There are few exceptions to this rule: if heights are involved all bets are off (though I did overcome my fear of heights to build my garage), and obviously if I need heavy machinery I will hire somebody (though I did buy my own tractor to put a septic system in at the cottage), but otherwise, I’m doing it myself.

I always wanted to learn how to yodel since watching the puppet show in The Sound of Music.
