Spot on as always, but a bit late to the “diner in America’s heartland” meme – The NY Times Pitchbot has been calling out that nonsense since at least 2022, and sells coffee mugs emblazoned with “In This Ohio Diner” (as in, “Nearly 90 percent of people admitted to hospitals due to Covid are unvaccinated. But in this Ohio diner, nearly 90 percent of unvaccinated diners don’t believe that matters," from back them.

Scratch an “undecided voter in a diner in America’s heartland” and you’ll find a hardcore MAGAt Trumptard every time.

I always skip the taking the pulse of real people interviews unless I’m looking for a laugh. They’re always cherry picked for dramatic value.

I have to wonder if the water in those diners is mostly lead…..

Middle America has always been conservative. But they have always been betrayed by them. Their desire to live in their grandparent’s world is a faded dream. Few live in the present and only a handful look to a future.

This must be what the elites reported that the people said as opposed to what they actually said.
