I know squirrels move quickly, but seriously, you couldn’t tell it wasn’t a rabbit? Need your eyes checked? I hope not.

….. And it’s now saying “Nuts to you”…..

At least he’s getting his exercise.

Fred a chase is still a chase ! Even if you did get the target ID wrong ;-)

Rover in “Red and Rover” loves chasing squirrels. He chases squirrels as Fred chases rabbits.

Mine chases Doves out on the cliff or Deer, whenever she spots them in the yard, or woods for that matter. She’s faster than the Deer( she bites their hind legs) but has never caught a Dove yet…:)

Squirrels are rodents, so it’s good to chase ‘em. Rabbits, however, used to be rodents, but are now classified as Lagomorpha. Fred should check his “chase” handbook to see if they are eligible for pursuit.

Also, check out the comic “The Flying McCoys.” They are pursuing the squirrel theme as well.

Fred would love my backyard, I have three rabbits for the last few years now.

Who needs to join an exercise club when one has free prey to chase?

I had a hound who looked up trees after loosing sight of a rabbit she was chasing. She didn’t even know that rabbits can’t climb trees like a squirrel.
