Decades ago, when I was in my 30s, I had a casual friend, lovely woman, very sweet, very pretty, very particular, very admired. Today she would be called an influencer, but no one knew even the concept back then. One day she turned to me and made a recommendation as to something I could do with my hair, to which I responded with polite acknowledgement and non-interest. She saw me several days later, unchanged, and made a remark something to the effect of how independent I was. It surprised me, realizing that she actually expected me to jump on her recommendation and even more that she would note it and comment on it.

Telling you that you are crazy is one of the means narcissists use to gaslight you. It’s a way of making their problem your problem.

Well Norm, it’s a well known fact that crazy women, and they are numerous, cannot be trained. However, the kinky ones can be a lot of fun.
