Sneaky packaging. It can be very deceptive.

I switched from cereal to oats.

“I want my Maypo!”

That’s a different way to shrink it.

Now you can put more boxes in the pantry, see how considerate they are?

Small boxes, less product for a huge price!

Only one flake in that box

My cereal has the same ounces but the cost has gone from $1.79 a box to $2.59. 45% increase.

Sometimes I open up a crisp packet, look inside and wonder if that was really worth 5 crisps.

Scrëw those guys! Seven dollars for a box of air! Rise up, breakfast people! Throw off the cereal yoke! Kick Kellogg’s cash cow to the curb ! Punt Post’s processed cräp!

Eat an egg! You can get ‘em locally! Heat up last night’s dinner! It’s still good!

If you notice, the size of the product shrinks while the price rises. Either way you look at it, the public gets screwed.

Mmmmm, IS there a cereal that is maple-flavored corn/wheat flakes? sounds good.

Well, if the flat flakes could be arranged just right, it might work. Less air, more breakage?

That’s how I like to lose weight….thinner but not shorter!

Don’t blame the economy, blame the manufacturers. They’re just looking for more ways to squeeze money out of us suckers. If you don’t like it, buy something else. If you do buy it, don’t complain.

Today’s comic looks good, but it lacks depth.

Cereal is no longer a cheap food item for those on a budget.

Latest thing – we bought a bottle of a vitamin we both take as a regular thing. The sealed bottles were only about 1/3 full – so they are cutting back on same also.
