And he leaves Calvin feeling Cat-atonic.

Maybe if Calvin wouldn’t announce his presence so loudly, this wouldn’t happen.

Reminds me of Dino and Fred on the Flintstones.

Tigers are what is known as “ambush predators” Calvin. You should have known that when you befriended Hobbes.;-D

He learned the technique from Dino on the Flintstones.

And to think it all started with a tuna sandwich……..

I love when Watterson draws Calvin’s little sneakers in the air. Too cute!

He’s got a tiger in his tank.

Calvin’s line in panel 3 delivered a la Gleason’s Ralph Kramden in The Honeymooners.

Hobbes always manages to get the jump on poor Cal!

Nice to have someone happy to see you after a tiring day at school.

Fun fact: the house door of Calvin’s home is a very interesting one: sometimes it opens inward to the left, sometimes inward to the right, then sometimes outwards to the left, and sometimes outward to the right. I wonder, was this because Hobbes always demolished the door, and they replaced it with the first thing they came across in a home depot?

If Calvin could only move, he might punches Hobbes in the nose for that pun.

LOL… Gotta love Hobbes.

I like how Calvin’s shoes always fly off. Nice touch!
