TA is “teaching assistant,” which I had at the state university, because the Professor was assigned to lecture only. I thought Big Paul was some sort of dorm boss.

Some people in my Uni did laugh at the TA’s who striked. Other TA’s complained about the timing, which was bad for a lot of students.

How long have there been TA’s in colleges? They weren’t around when I was a co=ed,
But, maybe then, it was believed that if a student was smart enough to get into college, he/she didn’t need any “assistance”.
