I’ve got a dental appointment for later this afternoon to see whether he can save a tooth that developed a huge, hidden cavity under a crown that somehow got missed by x-rays until it may be too late!

Actually, it’s Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Day.

Can they use the Oreo filling as a Dental Filling?

LOL! Oreo clogged teeth are only remedied by a tall glass of cold milk, swished around a few times, then followed by an appointment with the Dental Hygienist…They LOVE to use that FLOSS!!

It must be a nefarious coordinated dental conspiracy that Oreo cookie day is the same day as Dentist Day.

(No, I’ve nothing against dentists, nor Oreos. I’m just poking a bit of fun at the coincidence of the days)

I was sitting in the dentist chair and a young boy was in the next room. I heard the hygenist ask him if he had been eating potato chips before he came in……..yuck!!!

Yep, it was on this day, 111 years ago, that the Oreo cookie was invented! (I looked it up.)

Right now, it would be the Girl Scouts’ Thin Mint cookies …!

Some comedian (it might have been Steven Wright) spoke of developing a crush on his dental hygienist, and eating a whole bag of Oreos just before going in for a cleaning so that he could spend more time with her.

It should be called National Hydrox Cookie day since the Oreo is only a poor copy of the original.

Unfortunately, the company that made them no longer exist.
