10:40 EST – first comment! So flying deckchairs and falling head-first cat with very floofy tail. Is that a window he’s headed for? Any guesses what the other objects are?
It appears that he is falling into a window in a brick (or maybe stone) building. In fact, in the last panel he (and a deck chair or two) have passed through that window, which has broken into shards of various sizes… There is a desk lamp immediately behind Wally. The cube may have been in the room, as it isn’t seen in the other frames.
Note that the deck of the ship is splintering as it hits the building.
This is definitely Aaron Neathery at his most surreal.
The floors of the skyscraper are mostly perpendicular to the ship’s decks. But whether the building will hold together better in the impacts with ship and ground is the big question.
Wally’s doing a pretty good job at staying afloat here, despite all that’s going on. I do have a worried feeling though that at least one of the current gang isn’t gonna make it out of here alive…
Asked earlier, where are Wally’s companions? Whether they were ahead of him or behind him, now it appears he is without them.
And it appears, at one installment of four panels a week, it may be months before we know anything.
While it is easy for me to say that maybe Wally goes on in this adventure without them, nevertheless, the others seemed to have something to offer – especially Duffy, not to mention the topsider peacock scientist.
But then, Alan had a lot to offer – and he was the first to be offed!
Maybe someone could donate the strips to the Memory of Mankind time capsule in Austria, for our descendants a million years from now. I tried to but couldn’t get the strips into my memory to send off.

I wonder if that’s Holly’s ship, and if Walley’s headed for a reunion?

Wally’s heart will go on… After all, what’s a falling ship to a toon but a minor inconvenience?

None of this stuff may be in Wally’s reality. This just might be echos bleeding into this one. Lots of noise, signifying nothing.

I do not believe Kate Winslet is going to be waiting for him on the prow.

It’s been a while since the last episode. That’s not good for me, in my old age I lose interest and lose track of the storyline. Just sayin’.
