I’ve seen tools like that, the shovel part is for snow, the broom part is for light snow and slush.

Whatever they’re called, it’s best to buy 2.

Looks to me like a broom, with the dustpan stored on the end of the handle.

At first, I thought it was a snow shovel with a broom to finish with.

One can either shovel with it or sweep with it, but one can’t sweep dirt into the shovel.

Honestly, I could use it to clear the front steps as sergioandrade suggested above.

I had one of those. The dustpan is attached at the top of the broom and you carry it wherever you go so you have both at the same time. When you need the dustpan, you pull it off the top of the broom and then put it back on when you are done. Now they put them on the bottom of the broom.

It’s an invention created by the sales department, requiring you to buy two of them to compete one simple task. Many inventions like this are in use today and you are buying them.

One blow from the axe over there, at the right spot, and voila, TWO new tools.
